HOW TO USE IT

Getting around the app

Which screen you reach from where. A map of the home screen, Profile, Settings and the Learn section.

4 min read

There are four main stops in the app. All of them are one tap from the home screen.

The home screen

The Start button in the middle. Above it a line: a short pointer for the day, a new feature, or which interface level you are on.

Below it the streak card: how many days you have kept going and your next milestone. Tap it and the calendar opens.

Two icons at the top: Learn on the left, Profile on the right.

The background changes with the day and the season. Light during the day, warm orange in the evening, dark and starry at night.

Start → choosing a technique

The technique list and the length slider. You pick a card and set the length; the button at the bottom starts a session with the technique and length you chose.

If it is your first time with the technique, the tutorial comes in between.

Learn

Every technique explained. You can read them without doing a session: what each is good for, how it is done, the mistakes people make and why it works.

Locked techniques appear here too — they don't have to be unlocked to be read about.

Profile

A kind of control panel:

  • Weekly summaries — what happened, week by week
  • Programs — your running program, the catalogue and the history
  • Streak — the calendar and milestones
  • Session history — every session
  • Achievements — earned and remaining
  • Personal summary — the long view
  • Settings

If you have a program running, the Programs row says which day you are on.

Settings

Session: microphone, session rhythm haptics, sound cue, tap haptics, the hands-on round in tutorials, showing tutorials again.

Appearance: light theme, dark theme or the system setting. The interface level is here too.

Notification options: daily reminder, streak alert, technique-specific notifications, quiet hours, holiday mode, the daily cap, notification texts.

Privacy: the anonymous sharing switches.

Your intake answers: goal, experience, default length, usual time, age, health notes. All of them can be changed here.

Your widgets, the version and deleting all your data are at the bottom.

Screens that look locked

Programs, the weekly summaries and the personal summary open after a certain point. While locked, the row still appears and tapping it tells you what is needed.

When a screen unlocks, a short notice slides across the top of the home screen.
