FOR IPHONE AND IPAD
An app that hears your breath.
Most apps run a timer. Soluklan listens to your exhale and your inhale through the microphone, and shows you cycle by cycle how closely you kept to the rhythm.
A relaxation and focus exercise. It does not offer medical diagnosis, treatment or advice.
WHAT IS MEASURED
An app that can't hear your breath is only a timer.
In every cycle Soluklan measures when your exhale began, how long it lasted and how steady its sound was. When the session ends you are left with a measurement, not an impression.
HOW IT WORKS
It listens, measures and tells you.
-
You follow the circle
Breathe in as it grows, out as it shrinks. The circle does whatever the technique says: it waits if there is a hold, and shrinks slowly if the exhale is long.
-
The microphone hears your breath
Only the instant sound level is worked out from the audio. Which cycle you were late on, how long your exhale lasted, how steady its sound was, whether air escaped during a hold — all of it is measured.
-
A report arrives at the end
A score out of a hundred, a short headline, what you did well and a few concrete suggestions. If you want, you can open every measurement and read them one by one.
TECHNIQUES
Sixteen techniques, all well-known methods.
Coherent, Box, Triangle, Deep and Slow, Extended Exhale, Physiological Sigh, 4-7-8, Pursed Lip, Energizing, Humming Bee, Ocean, Alternate Nostril, Left Nostril, Right Nostril, Cooling and Kapalabhati.
Each one comes with what it is good for, how to do it, the mistakes people make and a single guided round to try. Where the evidence is thin, we say so plainly.
- Coherent 5.5 · 5.5
- Box 4 · 4 · 4 · 4
- Extended Exhale 4 · 4 · 8
- 4-7-8 4 · 7 · 8
- Sigh 2 · 1 · 1.5 · 6

PROGRAMS
One session is one thing; a month is another.
Set up a program and you do the same technique for the same length every day. The app keeps track of which day you are on and warns you if you start missing. When it ends it lays out day by day what happened: which days slipped, how your scores moved, which suggestions kept coming back.
KEEPING IT UP
It makes the habit easier.
-
Streak and milestones
How many days in a row you practised is marked on the calendar. There are stops along the way — three days, a week, two weeks, a month — and the app celebrates each one you reach. Next to these ready-made stops you can set your own: say “forty days” and that gets marked on the calendar too.
-
Suggestions made for you
The suggested length isn't a single number but a range that moves with your experience and your recent sessions. The order of the techniques changes with what you have already done today.
-
Reminders are yours to set
Which day at which time, how many a day at most, quiet hours, holiday mode and reminder texts you write yourself.
THE LOOK
The app changes as the day goes by.
The background is light and open from sunrise to sunset, warm orange in the evening, dark and starry at night. Sunrise and sunset are worked out on your device — no location permission is asked for.

Summer has a background of its own, and special days like New Year get their own looks. The season comes from the calendar; nothing is fetched from the internet.
PLATFORM SUPPORT
Full size on the phone and on the tablet.
If you like a big screen, there is a tablet version too. The same app lays itself out to fit both iPhone and iPad. All your data syncs between the two devices: your session history, your streak, your achievements and your settings travel in your own iCloud account, so a session you did on the phone is marked on the tablet as well.

iPad · iPhone
iOS 17 and later. Widgets, Live Activity and the Dynamic Island work on the devices that support them.
GUIDE
Use the app to the full.
Forty articles written to help you get more out of it.
How to do your first session, how to read your report, what to do if your breath isn't being heard, how to set up a program, how the habit settles in. What every feature does and how every technique is performed, written out one by one.
PRIVACY
Audio is never recorded.
The microphone runs only during a session and only the instant sound level is worked out from it. Your session summaries stay on your device. No ads, no tracking, no third-party analytics.
A session is two minutes.
You don't need more than that to start.
Soluklan is not a medical app. It does not diagnose or treat. If you feel dizzy, short of breath or unwell, stop the session and go back to your normal breathing. With asthma, a heart condition, pregnancy or similar, talk to your doctor before starting any exercise.
