Widgets and Live Activity
Adding Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, what each size shows, and the counter that appears on the Lock Screen during a session.

There are widgets for checking your streak without opening the app, or starting a session with one tap.
The Home Screen widget
Touch and hold an empty spot on your phone's (or tablet's) Home Screen, tap the plus at the top left, find Soluklan in the list and pick a size.
Small: your streak and a one-tap start.
Medium: your streak, how many days you have completed this week, and your next milestone.
Large: all of that plus the progress of your running program and how far it is to the next stop.
Tapping the widget opens the app and takes you straight to choosing a technique.
The Lock Screen widget
On the Lock Screen, touch and hold the clock, tap Customize, choose the Lock Screen and add Soluklan to the area under the clock.
Your streak shows here. Tapping it opens the app.
Live Activity
If you leave the app during a session, the session continues on the Lock Screen: the time left and which cycle you are on are written there. On devices with a Dynamic Island a small indicator sits in the island, and tapping it returns you to the session.
Here is where this earns its keep: you don't need to look at your phone during a session. The haptics already tell you the phases, so you can close your eyes and return to your breath — and if you do wonder, a glance at the Lock Screen is enough.
If you haven't added a widget
A short tip appears in the app once: a line telling you the widget exists. After you add one it doesn't appear again.
The Your widgets section in Settings shows which ones you have added.
If a widget isn't updating
Widgets refresh at intervals iOS decides on, not instantly. After a session it can take a little while for the number to change. Opening and closing the app usually speeds it up.
