Making the interface simpler or fuller
Simple, Standard and Advanced. What changes across the three levels, who each one suits, and how to switch.

You choose how much information the app shows. There are three levels, and the difference is only in what you see: no feature is switched off and no measurement stops.
Simple
On the home screen, just Start and your streak. Tutorials are short. In the session report, a score and a single sentence.
The summary screens get simpler too: they say what you did, and the weight of interpretation drops.
Who it suits: people who want the app purely as a breathing exercise, people who don't want to deal with numbers, and older users.
Standard
The balanced one. Tutorials, the hands-on round, the detailed report, achievements and summaries.
In the report, measurements and suggestions appear next to your score, and Detailed report takes you deeper.
This is the one suggested for most people.
Advanced
Everything open. All the technical lines in the report (inhale level, exhale peak level, variation within the exhale), every section of the summary screens, and — under the length slider — why the range is where it is.
Who it suits: people who enjoy reading measurements, and people who want to track what is changing in their breathing.
How to change it
Profile → Settings → Interface. It changes instantly, nothing is lost, and you can go back whenever you like.
You are asked in the intake too. If you are over sixty-five, Simple comes pre-selected there — that is a suggestion; pick whatever you want.
If you forget which one you're on
Above the Start button on the home screen there is a line telling you which level you are on: it reminds someone on Simple that they can ask for more, and someone on Advanced that they can step down if it feels crowded.
The look is a separate thing
Don't confuse the interface level with Appearance. Appearance is the light theme, dark theme or follow-the-system option — a separate row, also in Settings.
The background also changes with the day and the season: light during the day, warm orange in the evening, dark and starry at night. Snow in winter, leaves in spring. Sunrise and sunset are worked out on your device; no location data is used.
