Reminders and notifications
The daily reminder, the streak alert, technique-specific notifications, quiet hours, holiday mode and the daily cap. What each one does and how to set it.

All the notifications live under Profile → Settings → Notification options. They are all scheduled on your device: nothing is pushed from a server.
The daily reminder
The most basic one. You can pick which day of the week and at what time, one by one — every day can have its own time.
A time is suggested from your answer to "when do you usually practise" in the intake, and you can change it afterwards.
If you have a program running, the daily reminder tells you the program's day as well.
The streak alert
The alert that comes when your streak is at risk — that is, when you haven't done a session that day and the day is nearly over. You can set how many hours before the end it arrives.
This alert doesn't land right after the daily reminder: if the two are too close together, the app postpones the streak alert.
Technique-specific notifications
Separate reminders for particular moments:
- The Energizing Breath when you wake up
- 4-7-8 in the evening before bed
- The week's summary on Sunday evening
These are turned on and off individually. If your health notes steer you away from a technique, that technique's notification can't be turned on at all, and the reason is written next to it.
Lock and badge nudges
Notifications that let you know when a new technique is close to unlocking, or when an achievement is nearly in reach. Both can be turned off separately.
No nudge comes for techniques your health notes steer you away from.
Quiet hours
The window when you don't want to be disturbed. No notification arrives during these hours.
If a reminder you set yourself falls inside quiet hours, the app tells you and asks what you want to do.
Holiday mode
Silences every notification until a date you set. Your streak is preserved for that time too.
One warning: holiday mode ends an active program. Because a program keeps counting days. The app asks you about this before switching to holiday mode.
To come out of holiday mode early, tap Cancel. If you cancel on the same day, the holiday counts as never used.
The daily cap
You decide how many notifications can arrive in a day at most. If the cap is full when you try to turn on a new kind, the app warns you and offers a one-tap fix like "Raise the cap to 2 and turn it on".
Notification texts
You can change the sentences used in notifications. There are sample texts, and you can write your own. If you want only your own text used, there is an option for that too.
Recently sent notifications
At the bottom of the settings there is a section showing the notifications sent recently. If you wonder why a notification arrived, you can look here.
If you don't want notifications at all
You can turn them all off. The app works completely without them; your streak, programs and milestones all carry on the same.
